Estates

Probate is confusing to most people.  Attorneys strive to create estate plans with clients so that "probate" can be avoided.  However, many times probate is necessary and Julia will assist you in the process.  Many people get discouraged when they realize that sometimes probate estates take years to complete; however, we will work with you to diligently settle the estate so that the "closure" can be ascertained within a reasonable time.  Many times a probate estate is not needed and we can assist you with preparation of the small estate affidavit which will be required in lieu of "letters of office" issued by a probate judge.
